I wanted to buy Ben a Easter "basket". I know I went a bit overboard, but I couldn't help myself because I love this kid! This is his Easter present from Auntie.

Hunting Easter eggs at Auntie's house because it was raining outside
My neighborhood sponsored an Easter egg hunt today. They had it inside the model home since it was raining. The Easter bunny was there, Dr. Ballooney made balloon animals, a lady painted the kids faces, there were lots of sweets, and of course, there were many hidden eggs. I normally wouldn't go to this type of stuff kid free, but of course, Daphne was more than happy to let Ben participate!

This kid ate candy, cupcakes, and cookies for lunch! 
What a fun day it has been playing with my godson! I know, and he will know that the real reason for Easter is to celebrate our risen King! I'm going to my church service tonight! Thank you Jesus, for you what you did for us. Thank You for loving me more than I deserve or could even imagine! "Up from the grave He arose!"

When I first saw this picture on Daphne's blog, I thought the chair was a Cars Easter basket and the car was a Matchbox car parked in front of it...then I realized it was an actual chair with a whole pile of loot for lucky Ben! Way to spoil, Auntie! Looks like Ben was thrilled with what you picked for him! :-) Happy belated Easter!
