As I mentioned before, I started taking a photography class at the beginning of this month. I bought a digital SLR camera back in March. (I was helping to stimulate the economy!) I decided that I need to know how to use my new camera out of automatic mode, so I searched and found a class at Birmingham School of Photography. (All you Birminghamiams out there....I HIGHLY recommend their classes!) The class is awesome, and has really taught me how to take pictures in manual mode only. My teacher does not allow us to use automatic mode any longer! I wanted to post a few pics from each class assignment to start documenting my progress.....feel free to comment and suggest how I might improve if you know anything about photography! I'm taking a Photoshop class next month....I bet my pictures will really improve after I know how to use it!! I know this blog is photo heavy, but make sure to look at the last pictures because I think they are the best!

It's amazing how fast you have learned photography! I can't wait to see as you learn even more. But, I already LOVE the pictures you take!!

I want you to be my official Baby Photog in November---interested? if you are interested, I would love you to come to my baby shower too and do some photogs, I know that may not be as fun as Ben, but I would love it. Just let me know! I want to chronicle everything, since this is going to be the only one!

WOW! The pictures are beautiful!!! I'm taking a short photog. class too...it is just so fun! You definitely have a great eye and a whole lot of talent! Can't wait to see your future pictures!
Those are so great! I got a NIKKON D40 and I have fallen in love with it.. I didn't get to get in the class yet, though. I tried to take cute pics of my sister's kids, but they were poor sports! Ben is THE cutest thing in the world.
