I love the meaning of that song too Buffy! I think that sometimes the waiting is the hardest part in anything we face, whether it is waiting for the unknown or eagerly awaiting something that we are looking forward to. My favorite line in that song is "I will move ahead, bold and confident,taking every step in obedience. While I'm waiting I will serve You, while I'm waiting, I will worship, while I'm waiting I will not faint, I'll be running the race, even while I wait." I think the key word there is "obedience"...such an intimidating word at times too. One of my favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint".
With waiting comes renewal, with renewal comes restoration, with restoration comes change...and beautification. The Lord has big plans for you Buffy! Keep looking up and wait for Him to show off!

Doesn't it seem like just yesterday we were all sitting in that travel agent's office in Addis, crossing our fingers?!? Looks like Mr. Ben is keeping everyone busy down there! :-)
