I decided this past Monday that I wanted to go to the Opry on Friday night. Luckily I found GREAT tickets pretty easy thanks to my fellow fan club members! The Grand Ole Opry joined the fight against breast cancer with “Opry Goes Pink” with the help of Opry member Carrie Underwood flipping the switch on the Opry’s red signature barn backdrop to pink. Also appearing as a special guest announcer was one of America’s favorite morning news program personalities, ABC’s Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts, herself a breast cancer survivor. However, what made me REALLY want to go was the announcement that Caitlin Lynn of the duo Caitlin and Will would be singing their song "Address in the Stars".

Caitlin Lynn - PLEASE check out her music. This chick can sing! "Address in the Stars" is a very touching song! She wrote this song in memory of her aunt who died of breast cancer.
Here is the official video of the song...WATCH!

Robin Roberts from Good Morning America was the guest host for Carrie's section.
A couple of my favorite pictures of the main artist from the night.

Carrie singing Cowboy Casanova on Friday night. Thanks for the video Todd!
After the show, about 10-15 people got a chance to hang out with Carrie near her bus. She signed autographs and joked around. We actually got to visit with her for about 15 minutes. I love how "normal" she acts....but I guess she started out just like you and me!

The fence separated us....she looks like she is in jail!

What a great last minute trip! I get to do some pretty cool things don't I?
