Weekend of fun

Last weekend I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends...just how I like it. I, of course, took a few pictures, so I wanted to share.

Last Friday night, some of my family and I went to watch my 15 year old cousin, Sam (whom I adore!), play football. He is in the 10th grade at Pell City. They played in Talladega which is where most of my family is from. He is a wide receiver/kick returner. They didn't throw any balls his way, but he did catch a punt return and ran it back for 10 yards. We were very excited!

Saturday was Ben's birthday party at Pump It Up. To read more about it, go Daphne's blog. I will say that I think it was as much fun for the adults as for the kids. It was awesome to see all the people who came out to show their love for him...that kid is really loved, but how can you help it? He's so lovable!

Ben didn't open presents at his birthday party because there was a lot going on....however, he snuck and opened this one. This was what Unc and SuSu gave him...he loved it!


I gave him a tricycle and a horn! Hope he loves it!


I spent the rest of Saturday watching football with my sister and brother..it was great day!

Ben's actual birthday was Tuesday. Daphne invited to me to go to Chuck-E-Cheese with them. He has gotten tired of me taking pictures of him recently. He yelled "No" and ducked a few times to get out of the camera path!! However, I think he had fun with the few rides he rode...I had a GREAT time playing the games!

The weekend and the beginning of the week were fun! Now, everybody around me has the flu. Thad has been lying on the couch for 2 days! My voice sounds like a man this morning....I don't feel bad though. I've quarantined myself to my room in hopes that my immune system stands up to the test!!
