My best friend Daphne has been going through the process of adoption for 6 months. She received a referral for a BEAUTIFUL 6 month old boy from Ethiopia today...and she has asked me to be the Godmother! Isn't that exciting?!?! I am lucky enough to get to travel with her to go pick him up. We should go sometime in May....and yes, I MAY miss Carrie Underwood's induction to the Grand Ole Opry(that I have 3rd row tickets to).....yes you read it correctly...As one of Carrie's biggest fans, I'm willing to miss her big event to meet the little fellow!

Buffy (and Daphney) this is so amazing! God is so good to give this little boy, Ben, a life with so much love. I really want to meet this little miracles someday. Safe travels in May! Keep us updated.
Congratulations to both you and Daphne! My wife's sister and her husband are in the process of adopting. Adoption is a great, great thing.
