Why, oh why, would you sing a song that has already been sung on Idol by the greatest American Idol out there??? Ramiele Malubay sang "Alone" tonight. Carrie sang that very song 3 years ago....I must say that I believe that performance may have ultimately been the reason she won the show. It sure solidified my "fanhood"! So Ramiele....you shouldn't have done that. Don't be surprised if you go home tomorrow night!

Now, watch her singing it last year. I love to compare this because you can see how much she has grown and how SHE owns that song second to Heart.


Note to future American Idol contestants....DO NOT SING THAT SONG. It just makes you look bad!


On another note, I had dinner with an old friend tonight. It was great to catch up. Old friends that you can count on are the best kind. It's nice to have friends that you know you can count on no matter what....there aren't many of those in life, but I'm thankful for the ones I have.
