Vegas Baby!

Vegas was a blast! It was a great way to ring in my 30th birthday. No need to explain...I'll try to let my pictures do the talking! Enjoy!

We got into Vegas late Thursday night (really Friday morning) so the first thing Celia and I did was go skydiving on my actual birthday. You've seen the pictures of that adventure! This is my shirt as a souvenir!

We walked A LOT while there. Transportation will break you if you ever decide to go! After we finished skydiving, we walked back to our hotel. I took pictures of a lot of the casinos because they are an attraction in themselves. Here are a few.
Mandalay Bay

New York New York

MGM Grand

Bellagio with the water fountain show

Famous ceiling in lobby of Bellagio

Paris

Last but not least was our hotel, Caesar's Palace...very nice!

After walking the strip for a while, we went to have dinner at the Bellagio Buffet....YUMMY! It was so good we went back for breakfast on Sunday.

Waiting in line

Yummy!

After dinner, I played the slots...with only $20 but walked away with $20 less...it was fun though....the suspense of "can you hit it big" hangs on the whole time!

We also went to see "O" that night. VERY VERY good show!! I had a fun filled and jam packed birthday, but that's just the way I wanted it...it was definitely a day to remember. The next day was spent at the Grand Canyon...pictures and post to come next. We spent the last day of the trip exploring more of the strip, saw an impersonation show, and went to the top of the Stratosphere for a night view of the strip. Here are a few more pictures.

The famous Vegas sign

A few more casinos
Luxor

Inside the Venetian

The Stratosphere

Night View of The Strip from the top of the stratosphere

American Legends Show at the stratosphere- Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Brittney Spears??? I think they need work! Their show definitely does!

As usual for trips for me, we played hard. I always need to rest when I get home from my vacations because I like to see and do everything there is physically possible to do! I think we did as much as we could. This last picture shows how we all felt on our Monday flight home.

Thanks girls for going on my birthday trip with me! As I say about everything I do....if you haven't been, you should go!! Vegas is a lot of fun! Up next....Grand Canyon post...
